Callout for Cossack Art Awards category and event sponsors and Public Program facilitator

The City of Karratha is currently seeking category and event sponsors and public program facilitators for the 2024 Cossack Art Awards. 

As a nationally significant art prize, the Cossack Art Awards are one of the premier arts and cultural events in the Pilbara.

The 2024 Cossack Art Awards will continue to present the hugely anticipated Sponsors’ Preview and Gala Awards Presentation Night, an engaging public program, and a three-week exhibition.

The City is also seeking expressions of interest for facilitators to run the 2024 Cossack Art Awards Public Program.

City of Karratha Mayor Daniel Scott said the support and input of all sponsors, to the Cossack Art Awards is invaluable.

“The City aims to develop strong, vibrant, flexible partnerships, working together to deliver accessible and high quality cultural, social and artistic events,” Cr Scott said.

“Our Council spends more than $2 million annually delivering events and festivals across the City, but this continued investment will not be possible without the support of local partners and sponsors.”

Cr Scott said the awards had hosted a vast array of Public Programs over the years.

“We’re keen to put on a twilight tunes concert, sunrise yoga session, paint and sips, you name it,” Cr Scott said.

“We’re also looking for performers or artists to support our Children’s Art Day, facilitators for beginner-level arts workshops through to masterclasses, and beyond.”
