COSSACK ART AWARDS EXHIBITION 23 JULY - 13 AUGUST 2023
From humble beginnings in Western Australia’s resources heartland, the Cossack Art Awards have grown in size and stature over the years to become one of the richest acquisitive art award in regional Australia.
The Cossack Art Awards continue to grow as the highlight of the cultural calendar within the region as a nationally significant art prize.
For three weeks across July and August, the small town of Cossack comes alive with hundreds of vibrant artworks showcasing the very best artistic talent across the Pilbara and Australia. An Artist in Residence (AiR) is hosted each year and a range of Public Programs are presented to generate interest in the visual arts and craft in our region, providing skills development opportunities for local artists, art enthusiasts and visitors.
The City of Karratha with support from Principal Partner Rio Tinto look forward to sharing the 2023 Cossack Art Awards Exhibition with you all.
Entries to the 2023 Cossack Art Awards were open from 20 March 2023 until 6 June 2023.
Entries to the 2023 Cossack Children's Art Awards were open from 3 April 2023 until 6 June 2023, ticketed with a maximum of 200 entries.
